A couple of days ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-3831624\/Mike-Yenni-Louisiana-politician-admits-shouldn-t-sexted-17-year-old-boy-refuses-step-down.html\">Yenni admitted to sexting a 17-year-old boy in 2015<\/a>, but says he won&#8217;t leave office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8216;Last summer I was old enough to know better, but I guess I was still young enough to do something stupid,&#8217; 40-year-old Jefferson Parish President Mike Yenni says in the\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TK_46Bf7xNA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">video<\/a>\u00a0posted by NOLA.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">His remarks come just over a week after the FBI confirmed it was investigating claims he had an improper relationship with the teen, which included kissing him, buying him underwear and sending sexts of threesome fantasies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Yenni says he plans to stay in office to prove a person can rise above a bad decision. He vows to not repeat the past.
